SO MUCH OF OUR INTERNAL WORLD IS BEYOND WORDS...
THERE ARE SOME THINGS WE JUST CAN'T EXPRESS BECAUSE THEY ARE A SENSE... A FEELING THAT IS SOMETIMES VAGUE AND DEFINITELY INTANGIBLE.
What I love about art-making is that it gives us an avenue of expression that is much richer than words alone.
We can express a vague feeling or concept through colour, movement, lines, shapes and symbols. There’s no right or wrong way to express and it doesn’t have to make sense to our logical mind.
EVERYONE CAN MAKE ART AND YOU DON'T NEED ANY ARTISTIC ABILITY!
THE OUTCOME OF A JOURNEY WITH ART-MAKING IS A GREATER SENSE OF INTEGRATION AND WHOLENESS. WE FEEL CONNECTED TO THE DEEPEST PARTS OF OURSELVES...
Art-making strengthens our intuitive, inner voice as it tells us to move our brush a certain way, use a specific colour, put a shape in a certain spot... and when our artwork reveals a clear message to us we realise something magical and powerful has just happened. When we work spontaneously, trusting ourselves and our intuitive voice during art-making, we step into our own power.
As we find meaning and messages through exploring our artwork we allow what was unknown to become known. Our subconscious mind comes forth and what was unconscious can now become conscious.
WE CAN DO ART-MAKING WITH ANY GOAL OR INTENTION IN MIND.
We can explore difficult problems to gain insight and new perspectives, we can express new and existing aspects of ourselves to transform them or strengthen them. We can do art for stress relief, to release difficult emotions and to re-connect to our unique path.
In one-on-one Soul Art sessions, I help you set an intention for the session and then guide you to connect within, allowing your own intuitive wisdom to come forth and express itself through the art .
I stay present with you, gently supporting and guiding you through a reflective process of finding the answers you seek within.

In Soul Art small group sessions we have a soul theme that we explore through art-making and then reflect on the message and meaning our artwork has for us. It's an empowering, spiritual process of discovery and reflection and I keep Soul Art groups small and intimate with a maximum of 4 people.
