Peaceful Mandala

Updated: Oct 13

10-15 min activity.

Create a mandala to represent your mind at rest and peaceful or alternatively, you can imagine a peaceful place...

‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

YOU’LL NEED:

A piece of paper

Plate to trace a circle

I used paint but I encourage you to trust your intuition and use whatever art medium feels right - paint, pencils, crayons, oil pastels, chalk pastels, textas, or watercolours

‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

WHAT TO DO:

‍‍‍‍‍‍Use colour, shapes, lines, symbols, figures and forms to represent your mind at rest and peaceful or to represent your peaceful place… Try to slow down while doing this activity to activate your peaceful mind…

‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Some things to ask after this exercise…

How did you feel when doing your artwork?

Was it difficult to slow down during the activity?

Do you feel more relaxed after this activity?

What was your mind doing during the activity?

Was it more peaceful and present? Or was it busy?

What colours have you used? And why?‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

What symbols have you used and why?
