Art therapy encourages free and spontaneous self-expression through creative techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and sculpting.
Anyone can do art therapy because you don't need any artistic ability!
The aim of art therapy is not to create a masterpiece, but to explore feelings and issues in our life through the creative process. It’s about connecting deeply within to explore our inner landscape and find personal meaning through our own unique expression.
We can’t escape the stresses that life inevitably brings, but if we take regular inward journeys, and navigate through our emotional and mental landscape, we gain an increased capacity to cope with stress, challenges, and the busyness of life.
So how can we stay deeply connected to our inner world, while embracing all of life, and come to know ourselves in a way that makes us feel more whole and more complete?

As a Transpersonal Art Therapist, art therapy is at the core of what I do. Art-making can be so powerful and brings healing on every level because it gives us an avenue of expression that is much richer than words alone.
We can express our inner landscape through colour, movement, lines, shapes and symbols. We can connect with, and express, all aspects of our being.

There’s no right or wrong way in Soul Art! I guide you through each step, and it doesn’t have to make sense to our logical mind!
Satisfaction and relief comes when we are able to express our inner landscape in an artwork. We can then see it clearly, explore it, discover new insights, or find a new perspective. Our journey becomes full of new and wonderful discoveries as we expand our awareness and perspectives beyond our current sense of self and how we currently view our life.
